Now, you might think that this is just another picture of firemen on a street corner.  Well then you'd be partially correct.  But, do you notice how well dressed they are?  Remember, this is a volunteer fire department!  It just so happens that the weather reports were right for once and it was going to be a beautiful Vermont summer evening.  We needed to get a new group photo of the department and this night was just right.  We all gathered at the station and discussed our plan of action, what trucks to take and so on.  Then came the question, "do ya think we should bring our gear?"  "Naw, we don't need our gear!" was the answer from Jeff Limoge.  After a lot of grumbling and second guessing we all loaded up and headed for the high school.  We met the photographer and discussed the best way to position the trucks and the men.  Just as we were getting ready for the first shot....the tone went off.  It was a reported kitchen fire, on the second floor of 22 Main St.  Yes, that's the building right behind us.  After we had taken up and were getting ready to head back for the pictures, the photographer, who had followed us, wanted a picture.  This is it.  By the way, we stopped it!
